It is a matter of great pride and privilege for me and for those, who are or were associated with this outstanding institution since its beginning, having a dream to impart the state of the art education to one and all. I feel honoured that I am a part of the institution in name and style of Poma University (PU) which is a part and parcel of the Poma International Group of Schools (PIGS).
In PU we are all strongly committed to impart value based quality education, produce myriad merits in the university and explore all the avenues for maximum employability,
yet we are emotionally committed to the cause of education and his aim, objective and vision which is nothing less than excellence in academics, leading students towards becoming employable, making parents proud of their wards on whom they pin up all their future hopes and dreams.
The University currently delivers its academic programmes through its four Colleges namely: the College of Management and Administration, College of Law and Legal Science, College of Education and the College of Science and Technology and all our academic programmes in the four Colleges are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Benin Republic, the Ministry of Education, Nigeria, The National Universities Commission, Nigeria and accepted by the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC). The University also has a Postgraduate School which runs Diploma and Masters programmes and in affiliation with The Oxford University of Namibia for its PhD programmes in various disciplines.
The University has a unique learning experience that focuses on all round student development while imparting high quality education to the students.
